About the producer
This chateau owes its name to the establishment of the Order of Knights of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem. The chateau La Commanderie is located south of Pomerol in Saint-Emilion in the area of Figeac. Of the 6 hectares of vines, 80% are planted in Merlot on a sandy-clay soil.
About the wine
Best drunk young, this wine has a good, dark colour, and a menthol bouquet, mixed with jammy aromas of red fruit and chocolate. It is silky, well-rounded and harmonious.
