    Information
    About the producer

The Welsh distillery of Penderyn, created by The Welsh Whisky Company near the Brecon National Park, began distilling in 2000 with the help of the famous consultant Jim Swan, who sadly passed away in 2017. It is equipped with a pair of Faraday stills. Named after the inventor David Faraday of Surrey University, these copper pot stills are topped with a distillation column that enables further purification of the spirit, up to 92%. Penderyn is always keen to experiment with port, madeira and sherry casks, and is extremely popular thanks to its rich, generous distillate.
