Information
Findlater’‘s is a brand of blend created by Alexander Findlater. Like so many others at the time, it was first a store opened in Dublin in 1823 that sold all sorts of spirits and food goods. For the blend, Findlater bought malt whisky from Shaw & Turbett and William Burns in 1826, then malt and grain whisky from the Glasgow Distillery Company from 1831. The range released various editions before disappearing in the 1980s. The most sought-after, like Findlater’‘s 25 Year Old, are often presented in porcelain decanters from Wedgwood, the famous British manufacturer founded in 1759.
