Information
Les Glaneurs is a single-varietal Grenache cuvée from Domaine des Foulards Rouges. Founded in 2002, this estate now covers 15 hectares of organically grown plants. These vines are found in Piémont des Albères, near to the Spanish border. The soil is weak, composed mainly of gneiss, and the climate is influenced by the Mediterranean Sea, less than 10 kilometres away.
The grapes are vinified with little intervention, meaning no additives are used. The juice ferments with wild yeasts, and there is no added sulphur, no fining, and no filtering. The wine is bottled by hand using only gravity (no pump).
This cuvée is simply bursting with fruit; its silky mouthfeel and lively character are perfectly balanced. It has elegant tannins and excellent length on the palate.
