Information
Paolo Scavino's domaine produces approximately 120,000 bottles annually on his 23 hectares in the Barolo region. The domaine, which was established in 1921 by Paolo Scavino is still a family-run business producing fine wines from autonomous grape varieties such as Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto. Enrico Scavino and his daughters currently produce top-flight cuvées, which are complex and elegant, across 19 crus.
This pure Nebbiolo cuvée comes from a fine Barolo specialist, Paolo Scavino, who produces his beautiful wines int eh Langhe region.
Once the grapes are harvested, they are vinified with a gentle extraction at low temperature. After a short time in oak casks, the wine matures mainly in stainless steel vats to avoid marking it too heavily and to preserve the freshness of its fruit.
This cuvée is bursting with typical Nebbiolo notes that emanate from its ruby red hue. It has a complex and fresh nose with aromas of tobacco and dried flowers, and it is elegant on the palate with supple tannins.
We recommend serving this wine with a dish like osso bucco, stuffed quail, or aubergine with parmesan.
