Information
This cuvée is a blend of Grenache (up to 80%) and Mourvèdre (20%). It is crafted by a young, Danish wine maker who began his career at Domaine du Traginer before starting his own domain in the Roussillon appellation of Collioure. No chemical products are used during the process, and the grapes are vinified without additives. Sometimes, a homeopathic dose of sulphites is deemed necessary. We recommend enjoying this cuvée in its first ten years. Its deep, garnet shade hints at a dense, intense character, revealing notes of black and red fruit, spice, and garrigue. Whilst this wine is marked by a maturity and generosity typical of the south, it also carries the refreshing influence of the Mediterranean sea. This cuvée should be paired with dishes that match its characterful profile. Slow-cooked lamb, vegetable gratin, or roasted aubergine with dried tomato will be up to the task.
