About the producer

Alain Gallety is a true trailblazer who started with nothing. He has shown his talent for searching out exceptional off the radar terroirs and is a true tour de force! He is now an exemplary figure in the vast Côtes du Vivrais. The limestone and clay rich soils of this Ardèche domaine produce beautifully balanced wines made from Grenache and Syrah. The entire range is superb, from the entry level wines to the single vineyard cuvées. As for the history of this domaine, Alain Gallety made his viticultural debut in 1974 with his father in an area that would become the Côtes du Vivarais appellation in 1999. Today Alain manages the 15 hectares organic domaine with his son David-Alexandre.
