About the wine

This Felce Rosso is a blend of Sangiovese, Massaretta, Canaiolo, and Merlot grown in sandy soil. The vines are matured as naturally as possible, including harvesting by hand. In concrete vats, maceration on lees takes 5 days before spontaneous, wild yeast fermentation. The wine is matured in stainless steel containers. This is a lovely wine with aromas of red and black fruit. On the palate its attack is gentle with a supple, elegant texture. The tannins are soft, alongside a certain freshness and a pleasant juice. This is a simple but well-made wine, one to enjoy with a simple, everyday dish, or perhaps for an aperitif with a charcuterie board.
