John Bisset & Company Ltd was founded in Aberdeen in 1828. In 1926 it acquired the lease for the Royal Brackla distillery, a key component in its blends.

About the wine

A blended scotch whisky bottled by John Bisset & Co Ltd for the Italian market (Darma Import) before the 1970s. The back label makes reference to the Royal Brackla distillery, owned by the John Bisset company. It also states that 40 different whiskies are featured in the blend. Gold screw cap, with Italian tax strip.
