Château-Chalon Jean Bourdy
Information
About the producer

Situated in Arlay, in the Jura, the Domaine Jean-Bourdy was created some time between 1475 and 1500. The Boudy name is synonymous with the oldest winemaking families in France: the current owners are 15th generation direct descendants. The vineyard spans 10 hectares in the Côtes-du-Jura and Château-Chalon appellations. Given over to biodynamic farming (Demeter certification since 2010), the domain only uses oak aged between three and four years to age its wines and only seven year old oak for its vins jaunes.
