Information
This Meursault cuvées is made using some of the domain’s oldest vines, around 60 years old on average. These are grown organically and biodynamically on two, different terroirs: le Château and Sous la Velle. The depth of the soil here is ideal for the vines to draw freshness and a certain energy. The grapes are quite small and concentrated. Intervention in the winery is minimal in order to best respect the raw material; this way, it can express its vintage and the character of its terroir.
In the glass, this cuvée has a light golden colour. It exudes notes of white fruit (pear, apple, peach), nuts, white flowers, and patisserie. These aromatics carry through to the palate, balancing minerality with richness. We recommend savouring this cuvée in its first, ten years and pairing it with a generous dish like poultry in creamy sauce or truffle risotto.
