Information
Daniel Crochet, owner of the eponymous family domain, is dedicated to crafting terroir wines through meticulous growing. To craft this ‘Chêne Marchand’ cuvée, the producer brought his grapes to optimal ripeness thanks to natural grass-growing that limits yields. After harvesting by hand, the grape juice was fermented in vats before a maturation of 5 to 9 months on fine lees.
This is a gastronomic wine that will have a place of choice at the table. It has a brilliant yellow colour and a generous aromatic bouquet with intense notes of citrus, white fruit, and chalk. There is a real ripeness on the palate with an ample texture and long persistence. It has a striking minerality that balances the whole. We recommend serving it with a salad of avocado, prawn, and grapefruit.
