About the wine
This Hermitage comes from vines grown in Peleas (Tain l’Hermitage). The soil here is rich in chalk and sand, ideal for the Marsanne and Roussanne varietals that make up the wine. The Belle family practises land-friendly organic agriculture. The grapes are harvested by hand and sorted carefully. The juice is vinified in oak casks, 75% of which are new wood. The wine is bottled after 20 months of maturation in these same casks. With its intense, yellow colour, this Hermitage is richly aromatic with notes of brioche, toast and juicy fruit. The palate, ample and deep, expresses a lovely maturity.
