About the producer

The Carillon family has been established in Puligny-Montrachet since the 16th century. In 2010, the family vineyard was shared between the two brothers, François and Jacques. François Carillon cultivates 6.5 hectares and also runs a trading business. The domaine produces great white wines.

About the wine

This red Saint-Aubin comes from thirty-year-old vines grown on a sloped terroir of clay and chalk. To make it, the biodynamic domain opted to ferment in oak barrels, followed by a year and a half maturation in barrels. This is a supple and delicate wine, rich in fruity notes.
