Meursault Chevalières Henri Germain
Information
About the producer

Jean-François Germain forges the long tradition that precedes him with fervour and passion. His father Henri was modest, but he made a name for himself in Meursault thanks to his perseverance and exemplary work. The family owns 8 hectares of vines, making the wines especially coveted. It is recommended to leave them to age for some years due to their style. Produced in the pure tradition of the region, these wines can be somewhat austere in their youth, but they open up after a few years, revealing all the secretes of the Côtes de Beaune's finest Chardonnay.

About the wine

The fruit of attentive work in the vines, a low-intervention vinification and a long maturation, this Meursault has great cellaring potential. You should wait around five, even ten years in order for it to develop all its elegance. This gastronomic wine will pair nicely with dishes like noble fish or poultry.
