Information
Domaine des Malandes in Chablis was created in 1986 by Lyne and Jean-Bernard Marchive. The vineyard spans 27 hectares; the vineyard is managed sustainably, with grass growing between rows and green harvesting. Lyne has been helped by the enologist Guénolé Breteaudeau (formerly at Château Long-Depquit) since 2006. The wines have come a long way in recent years, becoming much more refined and precise.
This Chablis grand cru was vinified in oak (10% new wood) marked by malolactic fermentation. It was matured in a neutral container for 12 to 14 months in order to preserve the natural freshness of the Chablis Chardonnay. It gives off a certain power and elegance as well as a fresh attack.
