Information
Created in 1960 by Jacques Puffeney, the domain spans 6 hectares, spread over a dozen parcels. He farmed Poulsard, Pinot Noir, Trousseau, Chardonnay and Savagnin with meticulous care. Puffeney retired in 2014 and sold 4.25 hectares of the domain to Marquis d'Angerville (Volnay, Burgundy). He kept the rest for himself and one of his nephews.
This cuvée owes its name, M, to its origin near Montigny-lès-Arsures, one of Jacques Puffeney’s favourite villages. He has therefore put his heart and soul into this wine which offers a beautiful aromatic bouquet of red and dark fruits and gentle spices. The silky tannins structure the wine well and ensure a good cellaring potential.
