About the producer

Created in 1960 by Jacques Puffeney, the domain spans 6 hectares, spread over a dozen parcels. He farmed Poulsard, Pinot Noir, Trousseau, Chardonnay and Savagnin with meticulous care. Puffeney retired in 2014 and sold 4.25 hectares of the domain to Marquis d'Angerville (Volnay, Burgundy). He kept the rest for himself and one of his nephews.

About the wine

Well-known for the regularity and accomplishment of its wines, Domaine Jacques Puffeney here presents a lovely blend of Chardonnay and Savagnin. This blend is a lovely introduction to this powerful and atypical Jura grape variety. Bold, intense, and nicely balanced, this wine reveals lovely fruit and mineral notes
