Information
Founded by Claude Bertagna in the 1950s, Domaine Bertagna has belonged to the Günther Reh family for over thirty years, and over the last few years has enjoyed significant investment designed to modernise it, pushed forward by its current manager Eva Reh-Siddle. As a result, it now features among some of Burgundy's most renowned domains.
This cuvée is made from Pinot Noir that was aged for more than ten years and underwent an 18-month élevage in oak barrels (a third new wood). On the palate, this wine presents notes of cherry, raspberry and small berries like the blueberry. The typical hints of this grape variety such as its purple tinge liven up the velvety, fleshy and lasting texture.
