Chambolle-Musigny Arlaud
Information
About the producer

The origins of Domaine Arlaud date back to World War II when Joseph Arlaud, from the Ardėche, met and married a lady from Bourgogne, Renée Amiot, whose family owned a vineyard. The couple developed and expanded the domaine. In 1982, their son, Hervé Arlaud took over and enlarged the domaine further, while developing bottle sales. Today, the third generation (Bertille, Cyprien and Romain) manage the operation and do very high quality work. The 15 hectare vineyard is certified organic and biodynamic and includes the very fine terroirs of Bonnes-Mares, Charmes-Chambertin and also Clos de la Roche. The vines and soil are well worked (ploughed by horses) and the élevage is increasingly controlled, producing magnificent, very pure wine with remarkable finesse. This area is widely acclaimed by critics and loved by fans
