Information
Located in Berheim, in Alsace, domain Gustave Lorentz was created in 1836. The vineyard spans 33 hectares, of which 12 in the Altenberg de Bergheim Grand Cru and 1.5 in Kanzlerberg Grand Cru.
This Riesling comes from one of the most prestigious and influential grand cru vineyards in the Alsace. Its golden colour gives a suggestion of its rich and ripe aromatic bouquet with its yellow fruit, dried apricot and smoky notes. The structured and distinctively deep palate culminates in a lingering, saline finish. This wine will benefit fully from some time in the cellar and is at its best paired with seafood dishes.
