Information
Loudenne's vineyard looks over and gently descends towards the wide Gironde estuary. Thanks to the care lavished on the vineyard and the wines, this property, located in the Médoc appellation area, was promoted to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur status in the 2003 revision of the 1932 classification.
White wines are rare in the Médoc, and yet the château has risen to the challenge by producing this cuvée which is at once complex and expressive. The result of an 8-month élevage in oak barrels, it packs a lively punch thanks to its citrus notes. Its pleasant volume is embellished by hints of peel and dried fruit. Made for aging, it will age wonderfully to become woodier and more spiced.
