Information
Eric Michel's domain measures a little over 17 hectares and lies in an area of dense woodland. Oenologist by trade, Michel is well aware of the geological richness he is working with. He opts for environmentally conscious methods, growing carefully selected varieties and concentrating on soil health, prohibiting the use of synthetic inputs and harvesting by hand. The wines he produces are sought-after for their bold expression of fruit and their incredible capacity to reflect the Côtes-du-Rhône terroir in the southern Vaucluse.
The Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Domaine Cros de la Mûre is dark coloured and exudes notes of jammy, red and black fruits, prunes, sweet spices and the garrigue. Its supple and generous palate is lifted by its prominent but velvety tannins. Pair this aromatic and flavoursome delight with hearty and powerful dishes - success is guaranteed!
