Information
Founded in 1999 under Sylvie Gros and Bruno Lafon, Domaine Magellan features 30 hectares covering two different terroirs. One is built on terraces while the other is at Pech Redon: the commanding rock formation with a unique sandstone soil. From the word go, Sylvie Gros and Bruno Lafon have stuck by their hand harvesting, organic winegrowing and traditional winemaking methods.
Le Fruit Défendu is a little jewel of which the domain is rightly proud. It is produced from its best parcels, and is organically cultivated before being vinified and matured in cement tanks, which preserve the wine's fruity, fresh aromas. Consequently, tastings reveal a bouquet rich in fruity notes and a tender, indulgent palate which is also deliciously fruity.
