Information
The Guyot are one of the oldest families in Marsannay-la-Côte. Louis Guyot established the domaine at the beginning of the last century. Generations have succeeded one another and since 1990 Olivier Guyot has managed this 15-hectare vineyard which is divided between Marsannay-la-Côte and Gevrey-Chambertin. The vines are cultivated in a responsible, sustainable way and ploughing is done on horseback.
Matured for sixteen months in oak barrels, the grapes were acquired by Olivier Gruyot throughout the year. It has a bright, ruby colour. The nose develops tertiary aromas of oak and mushrooms with delicate notes of fig and blackcurrant. It has a lively, structured palate with tannins that are marked but balanced, and a warm finish.
