Information
Established 20 years ago, Domaine Giachino has grown its grapes organically and produced organic wines for nearly 10 years. The vineyard lies on the slopes of Mont Garnier, on the outskirts of Chambéry in the communes of Chapareillan, Marches and Apremont. The grapes are picked by hand so that they can be kept in perfect condition until pressing. This also enables sorting of the bunches, with only the best being selected. As a result, the property does not need to use any additives or vinification products.
Produced from an old, local grape variety, Persan, this wine - raised in vats – charms with its elegance and delicacy and fruity notes of cherry and black fruits. On the palate, its fine tannins lend elegance to the wine. This cuvée can be aged for up to 10 years and would be delicious with delicate meats.
