Information
Founded by Claude Bertagna in the 1950s, Domaine Bertagna has belonged to the Günther Reh family for over thirty years, and over the last few years has enjoyed significant investment designed to modernise it, pushed forward by its current manager Eva Reh-Siddle. As a result, it now features among some of Burgundy's most renowned domains.
To make this white Hautes-Côtes-de-Nuits, the Bertagna domain opted for harvests by hand and gentle extraction in order to preserve the Chardonnay’s purity. The wine was then matured for 12-15 months in oak barrels. Its suppleness and the freshness of its aromas are charming, evolving over time towards spicier notes.
