About the producer
In the middle of the 20th century, a family of Italian immigrants decided to recreated a vineyard similar to those of their native Veneto in the state of Victoria in Australia. They planted the first vines of the domain. It is now spread over 85 hectares and produces 80% Syrah. It was bought from the Rathbone family who also own Yerring Station in the Yarra Valley. The domain is renowned for its delicate Syrah cuvée.
About the wine
This wine has a nose laden with black and red fruits. On the palate, it gives off aromas of blackcurrant, cherry and plum, with a toasted note on the finish.
