Vin de France Les Brunes Les Creisses (Domaine)
Information
About the producer

The Les Creisses domain is a family-run operation founded in the nineteenth century in Valros, near Béziers. Philippe Chesnelong has been in charge of the domain since 1998, assisted by his cousin Louis Mitjavile, who handles vinifications, and Bernard Séguier in the vineyards. The 15-hectare vineyard, planted with Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet, Cinsault and Mourvèdre varietals, is semi-grassed between the vines and cultivated sustainably, with as little treatment as possible.

About the wine

This cuvée is a blend of Cabernet-Sauvignon and Mourvèdre aged for 18 months in new barrels. It is a deep, elegant wine, juicy and fruity with wooded , spicy and empyreumatic notes with soft tannins. A fine red wine, classed as a vin de France, it can be enjoyed with small game or a truffle purée.
