Information
After studying enology, Alain Chabanon settled in Montpeyroux at the end of the 1980s. The vineyard is now spread over about 20 hectares of vines which lie on the communes of Jonquières, St André, Lagamas, St Saturnin and Montpeyroux. The domain has been certified organic since 1992 and biodynamic since 2010. Alain Chabanon produces fine, original wines, with extraordinary aging potential. This domain is one of the jewels of the appellation.
This white, composed of mainly Vermentino and completed with 10% Chenin, is vinified and raised in stainless steel vats for 6 months. It gives off white fruit aromas as well as floral notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, at once vibrant and unctuous, sapid, and has a long finish with some bitter notes. A certified biodynamic wine which will goes very well with scallops, fish and crustacean.
