Information
Domaine Adélie was the final acquisition of Maison Albert Bichot; it is located in Mercurey and bears the name of Albéric Bichot's daughter who was born in 2003. The vineyard, composed of two plots, spans four hectares and includes a premier cru, Champ Martin. In the vineyards, work is sustainable, and carried out using organic fertilisers. In the wine cellar, vinifications are done separately for each plot, with minimal intervention.
This Mercurey Premier Cru Les Champs Martin is made with grapes grown on a parcel of less than one hectare. The wine is élevaged for 14-16 months in oak barrels (20-35% new). The wine has delicious dark fruit, violet, blueberry and liquorice aromas and subtle woody notes. It is both fleshy and velvety on the palate and wonderfully flavoursome.
