Chambolle-Musigny Lécheneaut (Domaine)
Information
About the producer

Domaine Lécheneaut was founded at Nuits Saint-Georges in the late 1950s, with 2.5 hectares of vines as its starting point. In 1986, Fernand’s two sons, Philippe and Vincent took over, enlarged the domaine (10 hectares over 18 appellations today) and modernised its facilities. Together, they produce wines in a classic Burgundy style, with good density, without excess and a true expression of the terroirs. They rely on superb plots in the villages of Morey, Chambolle, Vosne and Nuits. The domaine only produces red wines. The wines always show a very high precision in élevage and vinification. The prices have remained reasonable, making it an excellent place to go in Côte des Nuits.

About the wine

This Chambolle Village is floral and very intense, and can be enjoyed while young or after five years' cellaring.
