About the producer

Founded in Beaune in 1880, the Joseph Drouhin house is now run by the four children of Robert Drouhin. Present throughout Burgundy, but also in the United States in Oregon, its reputation is worldwide. It also has a domain of its own, including a vineyard of 72 hectares.

About the wine

Grand Cru Clos de la Roche is located north of Morey-Saint-Denis. This cuvée is made with natural yeasts and aged for between 14 and 18 months in oak barrels (20% new). On the nose, we find complexity, aromas of black fruits, musky notes and tobacco. On the palate, we discover perfectly coated silky tannins and an exceptional length.
