Château Côte de Baleau Grand Cru Classé
Information
About the producer

Château Côte de Baleau is a domain of about 20 hectares located on a Saint-Emilion clay-limestone terroir. It has belonged to the Reiffier family since the first half of the 17th century and today it is managed by Sophie Fourcade, assisted by Michel Rolland who provides valuable advice.

About the wine

To make this wine, the property harvests its grapes by hand and ferments them in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, before élevage in practically new oak barriques. The wine's intense nose has prominent hints of red and black fruits and toast. Its powerful and dense texture makes it perfect for extensive ageing.
