Information
About the producer

The Muzard brothers, Claude and Hervé, have combined their plots and created this domaine in the name of their deceased father. They complement their supplies by purchasing carefully selected grapes. The domaine covers 15 hectares in the Côte de Beaune mainly in the villages of Santenay and Meursault.

About the wine

Le Clos de Tavannes covers more than 42 ares of a vineyard planted in the 1950s. Its limestone marl soils ensure a great potential for this wine, which in 2009 was the top-rated Santenay in Guide Bettane & Desseauve's blind tasting. Excellent laying-down potential.
