Information
Dominique Belluard took up the family domain after completing studies in viticulture and oenology. Very quickly, he realised the treasure he had to tend to. As this project progressed, the producer went from conventional growing to organic, later converting to biodynamic agriculture. Not a simple feat considering his ten hectares of vines grow on steep slopes in the Savoie region. All this work has one objective: to preserve the Gringet grapes he proudly keeps. This is a real jewel, as only around twenty hectares of this varietal are grown worldwide! In the winery, work is just as thorough. Vinification involves very little intervention so the wine can express the nobility of its varied terroir, as well as the identity of the Gringet and Mondeuse grapes. Wild yeasts ferment the juice, and the wine is matured in amphora and concrete, ovoid containers. We recommend these wines for their finesse and strong, aromatic personality.
This Mousseux comes from a single parcel and is vinified using the traditional method, eschewing any dosage. In other words, no sugar has been added, which is why it’s called “Brut Zéro”. This Mont Blanc vintage is matured on racks for three years, which lends it incredible complexity on the palate. Drink this delightful wine young; you will enjoy its floral and fruity notes, its creamy freshness and its citrus fruit notes.
