This top-class domain in Savennières has made remarkable year-on-year progress. The dynamic Evelyne de Pontbriand has put all her energy (and she has plenty) into enhancing the potential of Domaine du Closel's different terroirs. The wines are planted over 14 hectares and cultivated biodynamically. Extremely precise vinification and élevages show off the variations in soil and exposure in Savennières to perfection. An excellent Loire name.

La Jalousie is a superb dry white, with a saline length. It can be tasted alone or with meals after 4 to 8 years' ageing.
