Arianna Occhipinti is a media star. At just 34 years of age, she has carved out a name for herself in the Italian wine world, and is the go-to name for biodynamic management in Sicily. Although she studied oenology at the rather technically-focused University of Milan, Arianna has never lost sight of the traditional teachings of her uncle whose small vineyard she inherited. Today, the domaine has expanded to 18 hectares, and Arianna Occhipinti is in regular contact with Nicolas Joly... great minds think alike!

This Frappato is produced from a local grape of the same name. Its fresh fruitiness is reminiscent of a Burgundy or Beaujolais. Vegetal notes elevate this wine to another level. It's hard to believe it comes from Sicily! This is an authentic wine, produced from nearly 60-year-old vines and matured for 14 months in Slavonian oak.
