About the producer

Jean-Marc Blain is a native of Sancerrois and his roots in Burgundy terroirs came from his marriage to Claudine Gagnard in 1980. Today he produces wines from about twenty different appellations. The limestone soil gives the wines considerable finesse and elegance, and the marl gives them a beautiful structure. Over thirty years, the humble Jean-Marc Blain has become a great name in Chassagne, and is one of the seven owners of the exceptional Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru.

About the wine

This Puligny Montrachet from Domaine Blain-Gagnard is elegant, rich and full with aromas of white flower and hazelnut. Keep for five to twelve years before drinking.
