Information
The Jadot house, in Beaune, is one of the most prestigious in Burgundy; it produces nearly all the Burgundy appellations. Now owned by a wealthy American family, the wines are produced under the management of Frédéric Barnier who ensures great regularity for the bottles. This is indeed why the Jadot house stands out in Burgundy: over 225 hectares and 130 appellations (Côte d'Or, but also Mâcon and Beaujolais), the vast price range will satisfy everybody’s tastes. The legendary head of Bacchus is always on the label. The domain uses traditional wine-making methods: a long fermentation and maturing. Chemical herbicides are prohibited and yields are strictly limited.
Marked by its élevage when young, it is a cuvée that will need at least five years, for the wood to be integrated and for the wine to reveal its full potential. A very fine white wine after 5 to 10 years.
