Information
Domaine Michel Brégeon, in the Muscadet-Sèvre-et-Maine appellation, was founded by Michel’s grandfather. In 1975 Michel Brégeon took the domaine over from his father, he retired in 2012 and sold it to Frédéric Lailler, a former agricultural worker who had learnt about winegrowing at the domaine. Covering an area of eight and a half hectares, the vineyard has siliceous clay soil with Gabbro subsoil and is currently transitioning to organic cultivation (certification is scheduled for 2019). The new owner produces fine Muscadet wines, which have great ageing potential
Muscadet from the Brégeon domaine delivers white fruit aromas and floral notes. It is characterised by a liveliness and minerality on the palate. This wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif or an accompaniment to shellfish.
