Fleurie Le Printemps Yvon Métras
Information
About the producer

Yvon Métras took over the family domain near Villié-Morgon in 1988. A firm follower of Marcel Lapierre, he is also an advocate of natural wines. His five hectacre vineyard is entirely organic and his vinifcations are always carried out as naturally as possible (natural yeasts and no, or very little, sulfur). This domain is a leading light in Beaujolais thanks to the authentic and fruit forward wines that Métras produces. The demand for these wines greatly outweighs the supply.

About the wine

This can easily be identified as a natural wine: it has a pleasant blend of fermented aromas as well as notes of fruit and game. The Gamay gives this Fleurie a floral nose and a silky mouth feel.
