    Information
    About the producer

In 1999, Nicolas Maillet took over the family domaine (which had existed for four generations) following his father who then brought his grapes to the local cooperative. It has doubled its surface area to 7 hectares, 5.4ha of which are Chardonnay on the slopes of the small village of Verzé in Saône-et-Loire, in the heart of the Mâconnais. The vineyard has been certified as organic since 2011. Vinification is essentially done in vats with minimum intervention.

    About the wine

This Chardonnay from the Côte Mâconnaise is an expressive, pleasant wine that would be wonderful to drink alone as an aperitif, with seafood or with a cheese soufflé.
