Beaujolais 1ère mise Yvon Métras
Information
About the producer

Yvon Métras took over the family domain near Villié-Morgon in 1988. A firm follower of Marcel Lapierre, he is also an advocate of natural wines. His five hectacre vineyard is entirely organic and his vinifcations are always carried out as naturally as possible (natural yeasts and no, or very little, sulfur). This domain is a leading light in Beaujolais thanks to the authentic and fruit forward wines that Métras produces. The demand for these wines greatly outweighs the supply.

About the wine

This cuvée has intensely fruity aromas (red fruit). At first the nose can seem quite light (be sure to aerate if this is the case). In the mouth it is light with silky tannins and flavours of red fruit. A fresh and delicious wine.
