Information
Gérard Harmand now runs the Harmand-Geoffroy family domaine, whose creation dates back to the 19th century. The vineyard covers a little less than 10 hectares in the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin, with a majority of premier crus and a grand cru, the Mazis-Chambertin. The vines are relatively old (about fifty years) and the cultivation is conducted in a sustainable manner. The quality of the wines has progressed well in recent years, they are harmonious, with body and intense fruity aromas.
Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Lavaux Saint-Jacques is a great wine for aging. It exudes aromas of red fruits (especially blackberry) and violet. In the mouth, it is characterised by wonderful structure and roundness.
