Information
Since 1986, the Château de Francs belongs to Hubert de Boüard (Angelus) and Dominique Hebrard (ex-co-owner of Château Cheval Blanc). This feudal castle listed historical monument is located in the Francs Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, about twenty kilometres from Saint-Emilion and extends over 37 hectares. The vines are planted with 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and in white, 50% Sauvignon and 50% Semillon. The domain produces elegant wines with a smooth texture.
The Cuvée Les Cerisiers has an almost black color. Its nose is spicy and fruity (red fruits). The palate is dense and has tight tannins, the long finish is appreciable.
