Information
This Tauzinat cru has belonged to the Carles family since the days of the monarchy (Louis XVI). In 1953, Antoine Moueix set his sights on this emblematic chateau on the Saint-Emilion plain. Merlot and Cabernet Franc grow together on nine hectares, producing complex, charming wines.
A rising star of Saint-Emilion, Château Tauzinat is a racy and supple wine that offers generous black fruit and red fruit aromas with notes of chocolate. The hint of wood is discreet but ensures good structure and ageing potential. It is a wine that can be cellared for up to 20 years. Enjoy with characterful dishes such as meats served with a sauce or dishes containing truffle.
