Information
Situated opposite the stunning Hyères islands in Bormes-les-Mimosas, nestles the stunning chateau of Léoube. Romain Ott is a fourth-generation winegrower, devoted to the production of well-balanced, organic wines. Ott trained as an agricultural engineer and specialised in oenology, bringing new energy and enthusiasm to the domaine when he took over in 2000. The wines here have a distinct identity: consistently expressive, elegant and balanced. There are just 60 ha of vineyard among the estate’s 560 ha sprawl, which also includes several hectares of olive groves.
Nestled among the spectacular scenery of the terraced Var coast, Château de Léoube extends over 560 hectares, 60 of which are vineyard. It was bought by an English family in 1997, who converted the vineyard to organic in 2011.
