About the producer
Domaine Jean-Baptiste Ponsot was created in 1954 by Lucien Ponsot. Today it is run by the founder’s grandson, Jean-Baptiste Ponsot, who took over from his father Bernard in 2000, aged just 20. The domaine covers a little more than 8 hectares (of which a third are premier crus). The vineyard is run in a responsible, sustainable manner.
About the wine
Rully En Bas de Vauvry is an elegant, fruity wine (apple). The palate is very well balanced and the finish is fresh, with white fruit aromas.
