Information
The Bret Brothers domain was founded in 2001 by brothers Jean-Philippe and Jean-Guillaume Bret. They are also the brothers behind the Domaine de la Soufrandière. Their objective has been clear from the beginning: to create specially selected high quality wines under strict and precise specifications. The Bret brothers buy unharvested grapes and then vinify them themselves. Some of their cuvées have organic certification.
The Glou de Jeff is unique in that it is the only cuvéemade by the Bret Brothers that is not harvested and vinified by them. Instead, as a negociant, they decided to support and showcase the talents of another winemaker from Leynes and it is his name that appears underneath that of the Bret Brothers. On the palate this has fruit and savoury notes with a good acidity.
